The Opportunity with McKinstry We are currently seeking a Sales Account Executive to support our Wireless sales and Wireless market in the Pacific Northwest based in Seattle. What we'd like to see from you: Business Management Develops and executes strategic and tactical business plans. Positions McKinstry's Wireless brand within identified vertical markets. Promotes all corporate offerings externally and internally. Increases the sales volume and gross margin profitability as delineated by yearly goals. Builds and maintains relationships within industry leaders, associations, organizations at local, state and national levels. Supports direct and indirect sales organization policies and monitors compliance. Participates in monitoring and managing key business metrics. Reports identified potential business risk elements and participates in mitigation efforts. Client Relations Provides support to the customer with regards to projects financing and contracting issues. Acts as the client's single point of accountability. Initiates and develops personal relationships with potential and existing clients. Utilizes McKinstry's tools and processes to support our customer relationship strategies. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or equivalent business experience required. Five (5) years of experience with a mechanical or electrical construction contractor, engineering firm or vendor required. Two (2) years of experience leading and closing sales required. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, and estimates required. Knowledge of building infrastructure mechanical and electrical systems required. Preferred Qualifications: CPM professional designations, experience in low voltage systems (HVAC Controls, Fire Alarm, Security), and knowledge of conceptual estimating.
