WORK SCHEDULE

  • 4x10 shift schedule

  • Monday-Friday only; the exact days worked may vary each week

  • Our clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidays DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Our Spine Center uses the latest technology and a multidisciplinary approach to treat simple and complex surgical spine conditions. Our surgeons provide care for common issues, including sciatica, herniated discs, scoliosis, and lower back pain. We also provide diagnostic intervention and minimally invasive surgery for tumors and blood clots. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of surgeons, physical medicine and rehabilitation doctors, PAs, ARNPs, and administrative staff

  • Coordinates and implements care for patients with routine and complex surgical spine conditions

  • Provides pre-operative patient education

  • Conducts post-operative discharge calls

  • Performs phone triage and responds to MyChart messages

  • Obtains medical records and test results for providers

  • Manages prior authorizations and outgoing referrals

  • Performs blood draws REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years of recent ambulatory or perioperative nursing work experience

  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
