WORK SCHEDULE

  • 36 hours per week

  • 3x12 shift schedule

  • Night shifts (7:00pm - 7:30am) DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

  • We are a 36-bed unit supporting low acuity telemetry patients, general medical patients, and orthopedic surgery patients

  • Common surgical procedures on our floor include knee, hip, and joint replacements, calcified bone treatments, neck surgeries, and laminectomies

  • We consistently hold 1:4 and 1:5 nurse to patient ratios POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Join an acute care inpatient hospital unit

  • Be part of a close-knit team where everyone’s contributions are recognized PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work alongside physicians and surgeons in a medical-surgical hospital setting

  • Perform musculoskeletal health exams

  • Support pre-operative patients

  • Administer and monitor pain medication

  • Treat injuries with wound dressing or casting

  • Help post-surgical patient increase their mobility

  • Accurately document patient care outcomes in Epic REQUIREMENTS

  • BLS
