JOB DESCRIPTION Job Number: 210367 Department: Oncology Infusion Services Hours: Variable - likely 10 hr shiftsOur Oncology Infusion Center located in downtown Seattle has an opening for an experienced RN to work Per-Diem (on call). We have a busy Infusion center caring for hematology, oncology and non-oncology patients receiving infusions. This position may require working 10 hour shifts with variable shift start times.. And our Per diem RNs working in the Infusion Center earn an extra 15% per diem rate. At Virginia Mason you'll be able to grow personally and professionally as you make a dramatic difference in the lives of others.Responsibilities:The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing servicesAssists the patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization.Collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals, the Registered Nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.Qualifications:Current WA State RN license is required.1 or more years recent RN experiencewith acute care patients.CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.Preferred Qualifications: ACLS and BSN Strongly preferred.
