We have sign on bonuses up to $20K for full time experienced ED RNs. Our bonuses are pro-rated for part time. These positions are (3) 12 hour shifts per week including rotating weekends. We currently have (2) day shift positions (12 hour shifts); (2) evening shifts (12 hour shifts & (2) night shifts (12 hour shifts) available. We offer the following shift start times 0700-1930; 11am-2330 pm, 1300-0130 1500-0330, & 1900-0730.

You'll begin each shift by taking report from a nursing teammate before making your rounds. You'll provide continued care and perform procedures as detailed in the care plan. To thrive in this role, you'll heavily depend on your ability to evaluate and prioritize patients based on their medical necessity. As the experts on the front line of patient care, our nurses have the opportunity to provide input and insight in creating change, improving the process, and reshaping the way our patient care is delivered.
About Us: Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is a 336-bed non-profit teaching facility providing quality health care to patients and communities in and around Seattle Washington. We are part of CommonSpirit Health which operates 137 hospitals and more than 1,000 care sites across 21 states making our services accessible to nearly 1 in 4 U.S. residents. Our Emergency Department is designated and certified as a Primary Stroke Center. Along with our outstanding cardiac care services, our patients have shorter wait times than both the national average and WA State average (according to "medicare data.
We have 22 ED beds and see an average of 80 patients per day. Responsibilites include: - Quickly assess and prioritize care based on trauma for all patient populations - Stabilize patients needing emergency care - Work with an experienced, supportive team of emergency professionals including emergency physicians, other emergency-trained nurses, licensed radiologists, and certified laboratory technologists - Demonstrate a passion for excellence in emergency medicine If you are committed to social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us. We require: - Current WA State RN license - 1 or more years recent Emergency Medicine RN experience - ACLS/PALS certification, or obtained within 3 months of hire - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
