MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Company: AMAZON.COM SERVICES LLC Position Title: Risk Specialist I Location: Seattle, Washington Position Responsibilities: Conduct, and perform a variety of investigation types, including, denied parties, sanctions and due diligence. Work with Advisory board and Compliance teams to establish Standard Operating Procedures and drive improvement solutions. Work directly with Tech and product Management on automation solutions for the Denied Party Sanction Screening (DPS) compliance program. Assist Risk and Compliance Manager in keeping abreast of changes in U.S. state and federal Sanction laws and regulations and help make necessary adjustments to internal policies and procedures. Participate in design and delivery of DPS training programs, large and small in scale, including coaching and mentoring. Manage daily escalation queues and strive to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs), handle complex cases from business and operations teams. Identify regulatory compliance risks and make suggestions or take corrective actions to implement solutions to improve controls and operations. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field, and (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Bachelor's degree and two years of experience. Must have 2 years of experience in the following skills: (1) suspicious activity monitoring, or fraud investigations, or denied parties and sanctioned country screening within a large company or financial services environment; (2) Working knowledge of U.S. denied parties and sanctioned country laws and regulations; and (3) Experience in a production and queue environment meeting high quality and production goals.
