Insight Global Risk Management Project Manager in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

To support integration of the HA insurance program into the Air Group insurance program along with supporting the aggressive timeline from Alliances to establish a codeshare between AS/QX and HA shortly after Day 1, Risk Management requires a contractor resource to manage the insurance certificate program. This resource will specifically assist with certificate delivery and follow up compliance calls with each airport where AS, QX, HA and McGee operate, management of the regulatory process to approve insurance certificates for international codeshares (which is done on a route-by-route basis) and ensuring aircraft financing partners and lessors receive timely certificate updates upon insurance program consolidation. Further, much of this work will need to be repeated at the natural insurance policy renewal period in December. This work will not specifically drive synergies on its own, but will help to drive the overall insurance cost synergies.

Skills and Requirements

This project affects operational compliance. Airports have the ability to shut down operations if insurance information is not correctly certificated. Further, lessors and financiers have the ability to procure additional insurance if insurance information is not correctly certificated -- this would add millions to the annual expense. Regarding insurance certificate work for post-close codeshares, if the regulatory process is not conducted, the Commercial team would be unable to sell flights across both platforms. Further, HR/Employee Travel would be unable to move forward with the ZED Zero agreement to allow employees to travel on alternate metal. null
