Job Title: CAD Technician

Job Description

As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of material handling equipment, work areas, and material handling components. Your tasks will include working on existing models and providing design support for future projects. You will focus on delivering high-quality plan and elevation views, aiming to standardize workspaces and designs across a large network of fulfillment operations. The role requires a self-starter who can operate independently and produce comprehensive drawing sets with minimal supervision.

Hard Skills

• Minimum 5 years of CAD operating experience with proficiency in managing layers

• 3+ years of experience in REVIT

• Associates Degree in Drafting and Design

• 1+ year of experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment

• Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems

• Experience in designing material handling systems/layouts

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, 3D

• Experience with BIM 360

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently as a self-starter

• Capability to manage projects with minimal direction

Work Environment

Based in the Bellevue office Tuesday to Thursday with remote work options available on Monday and Friday. The role involves using advanced tools like BIM 360 for projects.
