77569BR Revenue Cycle Architect ProfessionalJob DescriptionAs a Revenue Cycle Architect in our federal space you will manage revenue cycle integration, workflow and technical design across all revenue cycle solutions and venues. You will articulate operational and financial impacts of workflow and technical decisions to client and Cerner project teams. This role will allow you to represent leadership expectations for testing strategy, issue management, conversion readiness and post-conversion responsibilities to Cerner and client stakeholders. In scope will be to manage project escalations tracking, status and client expectations as point of contact for revenue cycle leadership. You will lead clinically driven revenue cycle (CDRC) conversations across venues as well as work closely with CIO, CFO, and revenue cycle leadership to define financial metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting prior to conversion. Finally, you will participate in legacy accounts receivable planning conversations and decisions.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:At least 6 years of total combined higher education and related work experience including:At least 1 year of health care information technology consulting (HCIT), HCIT support and/or client-facing or HCIT solution work experienceAt least 5 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the jobReceipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your positionDue to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizenPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeCertified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) - Healthcare Financial Management AssociationCertified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) - Healthcare Financial Management AssociationExpectations:Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location; preferred location Kansas CityMust be willing to travel up to 80% as neededWilling to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulationsWork in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of positionPerform other responsibilities as assignedAdditional InformationApplicants for U.S.-based positions with Cerner must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
