Acosta Group Retail Media Programmatic Senior Specialist in Seattle, Washington
DESCRIPTION
You will manage client relationships by understanding their goals, providing strategic recommendations, leading meetings, and creating proposals . Additionally, you will work closely with internal teams to align campaign strategies, communicate performance updates, and stay current with industry trends.
This position requires 4-6 years of experience managing programmatic spending , proficiency in performance marketing, and familiarity with various ad technologies and retail media solutions . Strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail Media Strategy:
Develop and execute retail media strategies aligned with overall business goals , focusing on driving sales and increasing visibility.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media agencies, client teams, retailer partners, and ad technology partners .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams , including brand management, product, and integrated marketing to align advertising strategies with overall business objectives.
Create proposals and presentations to represent solutions designed around client goals.
Serve as the main point of contact for retail clients. Lead client meetings to understand client needs.
Be able to work independently and as a team to drive client success.
Campaign Management:
Oversee end-to-end execution of digital advertising campaigns on demand-side platforms (DSPs).
Optimize campaign performance by analyzing data, adjusting targeting parameters, and ensuring efficient spending.
Analyze campaign performance metrics (NTB, Sales, CTR, etc.) and provide actionable insights.
Monitor spending and adjust as needed to achieve campaign goals.
Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and create supporting documentation.
Support post-campaign analysis , providing recommendations to promote repeat business.
Optimization & Performance Monitoring:
Provide regular reporting and insights on campaign performance to stakeholders and clients.
Conduct A/B testing and experiment with different advertising approaches to identify successful strategies.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling opportunities, inclusive of improvement and innovation, proactively implementing changes to drive performance and efficiency.
Monitor competitors' advertising strategies and industry trends, recommending adjustments to maintain a competitive advantage
Industry Knowledge & Proficiency:
Familiarity with DSPs (e.g., Google DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP).
Understand programmatic buying, real-time bidding, and audience segmentation.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to ad serving and tracking.
Familiarity with one or more retail media solutions ( Amazon, Walmart, Target/Roundel, Instacart ) and associated ad technology (AMC, Criteo, Citrus Ads, Skai) and adapt recommendations based on advertiser needs.
Stay current with industry trends , algorithm updates, and competitive landscape to proactively adapt strategies; help develop competitive analysis as needed.
Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support team and client requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
4-6 years of experience in managing programmatic spending across a retail media platform (Amazon DSP, Trade Desk, Google DV 360, Yahoo DSP) with a track record of achieving client objectives.
Proficiency in performance marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition.
Understanding of SEM to pair with Programmatic
Experience with ad technology that supports retail media solutions , such as Skai, Pacvue, Hellium10, Analytic Index, and Amazon Marketing Cloud)
An exceptional eye for detail, analytical and ability to solve problems given the fast-paced nature of our division, and the aptitude to multitask.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to operate in a client-facing role across diverse client groups.
Command of essential Microsoft Office applications, and Excel with the ability to use formulas, functions, and pivot tables at an advanced level .
Adept in project and campaign management across concurrent clients and campaigns.
Strong verbal and written communication
Comfortable leading and presenting recommendations to clients.
Nurture collaborative relationships , and a collaborative and curious spirit.
Work and resolve issues cross-functionally.
Manage multiple priorities and concurrent deadlines.
