Our research and evaluation and technical assistance work is strengths-based, with a cross-sector approach involving collaboration with programs, providers, and systems in these content areas: Public Health, Schools, and Communities (community engagement, comprehensive safety in schools and in communities, mental health promotion and school-based mental health services, school discipline, social determinants of health, suicide prevention, trauma-informed care and approaches, and violence prevention) Thriving Youth & Justice Systems (adolescent science, criminal justice and policing, intergenerational supports for families impacted by the justice system, juvenile justice, re-entry and supports, restorative justice, social justice, youth engagement, and youth led movements) Whole Child Learning & Development in K-12 Educational Settings (conditions for learning, mindsets and mindfulness, restorative practices, school climate, science of learning and development, and social and emotional learning and related frameworks) Youth Development & Family Engagement (arts, community schools, family engagement, nature and environmental education, out-of-school time, sports, youth engagement, and youth leadership development). Candidates hired for the position may work remotely within the United States (U.S.) or from one of our U.S. office locations.This does not include U.S. territories. Responsibilities The responsibilities for the position include: Conduct literature reviews to support measure development and refinement Assist staff in the review, identification and development of scholarly information Assist school recruitment efforts in districts, to include communications with district and school staff Participate in the collection, coding, analysis, and review of research and evaluation data Develop spreadsheets and data bases to support project activities Analyze quantitative and qualitative research data and contribute to the reporting and interpretation of findings Qualifications Education, Knowledge, and Experience: Must be a current student pursuing a Doctoral degree in such fields as social work, economics, psychology, sociology, statistics, computer science, public policy, pub
