DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Research Scientist/Engineer 1 (NE S UAW RSE) has the following responsibilities:

  • Write or improve existing code to implement kinetic models of the multimodal data. 50%

  • Simulations will be performed in one of the following languages: Python, Julia, MATLAB or C++.

  • Results will be analyzed and organized in R/Quarto.

  • Results, data and code will be prepared for public release and submitted for peer review. 25%

  • Updates will be provided to an academic/industry consortium that is supporting the work. 15%

  • Process mass spectrometric, MRI and other clinical data for modeling. 10% MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific Discipline

  • One year of relevant experience. Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Scientific programming, data analysis, differential equations.

  • Scientific machine learning, symbolic regression.
