Our partner consults on research methods and products around gene synthesis within the molecular bio space. There are seeking a savvy Research Associate, RNA to play a versatile role within their team, performing QC method development to support their innovative work, in RNA production services.

Location: Redmond, WA (100% on-site)

Pay Rate : $28/hr-$30/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Contract-to-hire opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally with team across R&D projects, with a focus on novel RNA enzymatic and ribozymatic synthesis.

• Support the development of in vitro and cell-based assays for new product characterization.

• Collaborate on developing reviewing analytical method protocols.

• Prepare technical reports and present scientific findings within the team.

Requirements:

• MS or BS in Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related industry.

• 1 year of industry experience required.

• Experience with in vitro RNA synthesis, messenger RNA, purification, and characterization.

• Experience with circular RNA (circRNA) and cell culture preferred

• Proficient in RNA-related analytics, including gel electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis, qPCR, HPLC, and LC-MS preferred.
