Research Assistant (work-study) Employment Type Temporary Part-Time Requisition number 1882 Department Center for Interventional Immunology Location : City Seattle Overview This position will be responsible for supporting the Type 1 Diabetes TrialNet Hub Project Managers and Hub Program Manager, as well as assisting in a variety of duties related to TrialNet operations and recruitment activities. The Hub Research Assistant will largely focus on a variety of administrative details, systems management, and project support. This is a part-time work-study position for up to 19 hours each week. Responsibilities Perform essential tasks related to meeting preparation and execution, including agenda development, meeting minutes, resource development, and post-meeting evaluations Work collaboratively with cross-functional internal and external teams Provide administrative, clerical, logistical and project support as needed Qualifications Meet Washington state residency requirements for state financial aid with evidence of a work-study award Be enrolled at least half-time in an eligible program at a participating college - position must relate to program of study Maintain academic progress High School Diploma or equivalent Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word Strong communication, written, and organization skills Ability to accurately review and complete detail-oriented projects Strong attention to detail Compensation \$20.00 to \$27.74 per hour Benefits Paid sick leave Subsidized bus pass About Us Benaroya Research Institute (BRI) has a bold mission: To predict, prevent, reverse and cure immune system diseases, from autoimmune disease to cancer to COVID-19.
