The Fred Hutch/UW Hematopoietic Diseases Repository is a repository that collects and stores various blood and bone marrow samples from patients diagnosed with various blood disorders or acute leukemias. We aim to be a resource for researchers within our center and for external researchers by providing valuable samples to understand more about acute leukemia. Working in this role will provide extensive opportunities to interact with scientists, physicians, and clinical research team members. The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center campus is located in South Lake Union with a shuttle bus that regularly runs between the University of Washington and Fred Hutch campuses.
We are seeking a highly motivated undergraduate student to join our team in a unique research opportunity to assist in accurately annotating clinical information pertaining to the samples. Many of our projects involve contact with other healthcare providers and present various opportunities to learn about leukemia in depth.
