Responsibilities

Our orthopedic and sports medicine surgeons perform over 6,000 surgeries every year. The team is nationally recognized , and is even the official medical provider for multiple Seattle professional sports teams. Working on this floor as a Registered Nurse you will be part of a supportive team of nurses who work together as a cohesive unit to make the floor fun and engaging.

What it's like to work on the new, state-of-the-art Jones 11 Orthopedic Surgical Unit? You will be a valued member of an interdisciplinary team comprised of nurses, patient care techs, physicians, physicians assistants, and physical and occupational therapy just to name a few. Your voice in the care you provide your patients matters here. We are a fast-paced surgical-based floor comprising 24 acute care beds. On Jones 11 you can expect to see patients needing an assortment of orthopedic procedures such as total joint replacements and spinal surgeries.

Qualifications

We require:

  • Current WA State RN license is required.

  • 1 or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients preferred

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

  • Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Pay Range

$40.73 - $67.1 /hour
