UW Medical Center - Montlake has an exciting opportunity for a per diem (0% FTE, variable days per week), day shift REGISTERED NURSE to join our Medical Specialties Center. The Per Diem RN will provide clinical care and triage for medically complex patients in multiple specialty areas, including nephrology, pulmonary care, neurovascular surgery, and cystic fibrosis treatment. SCHEDULE: Per diem shifts, 8 hour days, variable days per week. Our clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidays. RESPONSIBILITIES: As an RN, you will:

  • Assess and document care coordination within our specialty clinics

  • Educate patients on ongoing care plans

  • Monitor patient flow

  • Coordinate patient triage, in person and via telehealth

  • Administer medications

  • Document patient conditions MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years of current or recent medical-surgical nursing experience

  • An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Recent outpatient nursing experience
