$10,000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine UW Medical Center-Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Unit.

ABOUT OUR ENDOSCOPY UNIT

• We are a high-volume procedural unit

• We have 3 rooms and see close to 24 patients each day

• RNs provide procedural support for therapeutic, diagnostic, and screening GI services and bronchoscopies WORK SCHEDULE

• 4x10 shift schedule

• Primarily day shifts, Monday-Friday, with on call responsibilities for off hours cases

• On call responsibilities include one weekend per month PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist providers during endoscopic procedures

• Provide patient care before, during, and after conscious sedation

• Educate patients

• Administer medication

• Use and maintain endoscopic equipment

• Help manage emergencies and complications

• Promote efficient patient flow by assisting with patient admission, phone triage, and record keeping REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of recent procedural or gastroenterology nursing experience

• Active BLS
