In order to continue to scale our fast-growing business applications team, we are seeking a Recruiting Manager with strong people development skills and business partnership acumen to support the rapid growth of multiple lines of business for AWS in North America. This recruiting leader will work closely with the sourcing team, partner with a team of HR business partners, cross-functional peers, and other teams to execute against recruiting targets.ScopeThis Recruiting Manager will manage a technical recruiting team (6-8 direct reports) and report in to a Senior Recruiting Manager. A successful RM candidate will effectively provide coaching to direct reports, contribute thought leadership, set benchmarks, analyze data/metrics, and understand how to prioritize to reach accelerated demand and incremental demand, each quarter.LocationThis position will ideally be located in Seattle, however, other US locations will be considered such as Denver, San Francisco, Portland, Bay Area, and Arlington VA. Other Amazon corporate office locations in the US will also be considered (virtual/remote).Core Responsibilities* Drive sourcing capability and delivery across a geographically dispersed team within North America to proactively build diverse technical and non-technical candidate pools, leveraging all available talent channels.* Partner with key business, HR and TA stakeholders to determine future talent needs, set and drive enabling sourcing strategies. This requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels (both domestic US and internationally).* Use strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends to identify opportunities, interventions, and initiatives for improvement.* Lead and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.* Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.* Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals.Inclusive Team CultureHere at AWS, we embrace our differences.
