* In this position you will: *
- Support students in grades 3-5 during SIPPS reading intervention and writing, as well as grades K-2 in math, through small groups and one-on-one instruction at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary (6725 45th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98118)
- Assist teachers and other school staff with group instruction, classroom activities, and special projects
- Build valuable leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Develop professional relationships with faculty, staff, and TIPS administration
- Receive paid training on Race & Equity in Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Student Engagement & Management, creating Inclusive & Welcoming School Environments, Social Emotional Learning strategies, and more!
- Get paid $23/hour
- Accrue paid sick leave
*Schedule: *
- Start Date: January 6th, 2025
- Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm
- 12 hours a week
- Schedule is fixed to meet school's needs
- Follows Seattle Public Schools schedule for breaks and holidays
