WORK SCHEDULE - 60% FTE; 24 HOURS PER WEEK; PART-TIME - DAY SHIFT

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS - The Radiologic Technologist performs a wide variety of radiographic procedures accurately, independently, and efficiently.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Sports Medicine Clinic at Northwest Outpatient Medical Center https://www.uwmedicine.org/locations/the-sports-medicine-clinic-nwhmc

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Under general direction, perform exams and procedures - Support and assist physician with exams, procedures, problem-solving and daily tasks. - Inform patients of exam procedure, transfer, and position patient safely and properly for examination - Review and evaluate radiology images to determine that they are satisfactory and acceptable for diagnostic purposes - Maintain the patient’s environment by setting up exam rooms and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are ready, operable, and clean. - Completes required paperwork and records, accurately inputs exam orders, patient data, patient charges, and prepares reports - Observe and monitor patient’s condition and reactions to exam.

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS - Registered as an X-Ray Technician by the State of Washington - Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist, before completion of probationary period. - Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school and eligible for registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Registry completed before completion of probationary period OR equivalent education/experience.
