Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities:Perform visual and dimensional inspections of internal flight hardware. As needed, support the review and inspection of supplier related hardwareDocument First Article Inspection Reports for internally produced hardwareMonitor SPC activities as necessaryProvide training and/or assistance to other team members in the use of quality procedures and/or toolsConduct process health assessments and internal audits for compliance with industry standards and provide ongoing objective evaluations of processes and documentationConduct follow-up and compliance audits to ensure process improvement and corrective / preventive action implementation and effectivenessQualifications:3+ years' industry experience in an aviation/aerospace manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in a quality inspection roleAerospace, space launch, military or commercial aviation preferredInternal auditing experienceFamiliarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programsAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Desired:Relevant experience in a start-up environment, transitioning a product from development, through production to operationsRelevant experience in AS9145, Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval ProcessQuality Management System audit experienceQuality performance measurement analysis capabilities (SPC)Six Sigma Green Belt certificationExport Control RegulationsApplicants for employment at Blue Origin must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the a refugee or granted asylum.Equal Employment OpportunityBlue Origin is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and is committed to attracting, retaining, and developing a highly qualified, diverse, and dedicated work force.
