This individual will be responsible for high level Quality Assurance Testing across web, iOS, and Android applications. This individual will utilize QA testing best practices in order to identify and classify software defects. They will own creating and managing bug reports that include steps to reproduce, logs, clear description of actual results vs. expected, helpful title & summary. They will work with software management and product and design in order to classify and prioritize bugs. They will keep team members informed of issues affect them and escalate concerns promptly and appropriately with little guidance from management or team members. They will support the software quality process by generating monthly reports on the number of defects identified and fixed. They will manage directly assigned tasks gracefully.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience of 3 or more years

  • Must have Project Management skills to create a process around testing features as they’re developed by engineers, work to prioritize defects, etc.

  • Broad spectrum of different platforms – comfort and knowledge in iOS, Android and web

  • Leadership Principles: Ownership, insists on the highest standards, and bias for action

  • Must have the following skills:

  • Building and managing bug reports

  • Utilizing QA best practices to identify defects in modern Web Applications

  • Utilizing QA best practices to identify defects in modern iOS Applications

  • Utilizing QA best practices to identify defects in modern Android Applications

  • Demonstrated experience working as part of a team against deadlines with multiple stakeholders

  • Demonstrated use at the consumer level of software, computers and devices (iOS / Android / Mac or PC)


  • Sustained coursework, or certificate of completion in Computer Science or related technical field

  • Demonstrated experience prioritizing your own work with limited guidance from your manager or peers

  • Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in delivering a world-class customer experience (ideally in the consumer electronics industry)

  • Strong organizational skills, tracking multiple projects simultaneously and ability to synthesize the results
