Rauxa Quality Assurance Engineer in Seattle, Washington

Rauxa is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer for our San Francisco office.

  • Work alongside multidisciplinary User Experience, Visual Design, Marketing/Content Strategy and Development/Engineering teams to deliver multiple web and content management projects

  • Be responsible for leading hands on testing efforts and initiatives independently on a variety of projects, through the full lifecycle

  • Work with onshore and offshore QA engineers to develop test plans, test cases, execute all testing and manage defect tracking and reporting

  • You have extensive Web testing experience from visual design through HTML templating to final web front-end

  • You have extensive experience with front-end HTML/CSS/JS analysis & testing

  • You have a strong understanding of HTTP and AJAX Web Sever / Client

  • You have extensive cross-device/browser/version web testing and analysis experience

  • You have configured and used JIRA, Bugzilla and other common bug tracking tools

  • You are flexible in process and comfortable working with many client-specific standards, processes, tools

  • You are fully Windows and Mac OS literate and experienced in testing mobile OS's such as, iOS and Android

  • You are a problem solver who is passionate about new technology

  • You desire to work in a client-facing consulting role.

  • You have a Bachelor's degree (preferably in Internet Technologies, Computer Science or interdisciplinary)

  • You have 3+ years experience in QA planning and testing for Web applications and a mix of experience in multiple environments, preferably in digital or marketing agencies

Desired:

  • You have experience testing integrated content management systems (CMS) such as concrete5, Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, etc.

  • You have experience with enterprise CMS systems such as, Adobe CQ, Oracle FatWire, SLD Tridion, Autonomy Interwoven TeamSite, or similar

  • You are a strong listener and communicator relating to note taking (test results documentation) skills with an analytical and methodical approach

  • You are self-managing and have the ability to adjust to competing priorities and allocating your time and patience as necessary to get the job done
