Primary Duties and Responsibilities: *Directs all quality initiatives to maintain and improve quality standards *Assists in solving technical problems which may affect quality *Maintains quality assurance processes and programs *Directs new product development and testing *Maintains customer compliance records *Communicates, trains, and motivates employees to create a common goal and attitude that will achieve quality and operating objectives with a team concept. *Ensuring safety of production employees *Reports to Director of Operations on all Quality Assurance, and reports to Production Manager any stoppage, inconsistency of doughs, and equipment problems that may occur . *Enforces GMPs and Company policies *Works effectively with management team in house and with other bakery locations *Adherence to the Company's Core Values *Assures compliance with government regulations *Assists in outside agency and/or customer audits *Maintains Production's Skills Chart, Training Register, Document Manual and all SQF Production document changes *Attend weekly market scoring and maintain scoring sheets *Review selected ingredient Certificates of Analysis *Point person on Customer sample schedules as well as shipping all Customer samples as required *Maintaining all formulas in the shop *Actively seeking ways to improve processes and efficiencies *Additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned Minimum Requirements *Safe Quality Food (SQF) and AIB certification will be required at some point in this position. *Two - three years prog
