Description
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Project/Program Manager V in Seattle, Washington. This role is primarily focused on implementing, planning, and piloting volunteering programs and products, executing global volunteer campaigns, and leading the go-to-market strategy for new volunteer initiatives.
We are looking for an exemplary individual to join our Community Impact Volunteering (CIV) team, with a vision for everyone within our organization to make a difference through volunteering. Using their time, expertise and skills, the ideal candidate will help improve our local communities, preserve our planet, and carry the legacy forward for future generations. This vital role will support three key workstreams for 2025:
Plans are underway to expand the CIV's volunteer portfolio in 2025 to incorporate more skills-based volunteering programs. As part of this role, you will steer the pilot programming and strategic planning for implementing 1-2 skills-based volunteering schemes.
Our organization expects to conduct three worldwide volunteer campaigns in 2025. As part of this, you will be leading the campaign planning and closely collaborating with regional CIV teams to devise tools/resources required for efficient execution.
An exciting part of this role is to lead the launch of new volunteer initiatives. The goal is to streamline and automate the go-to-market execution, creating a consistent experience for our teams. You will lead the go-to-market execution and gauge/iterate our streamline-designed processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Building an implementation plan for 1-2 skills-based volunteering schemes based on the strategy and suggestions provided by the CIV team.
Leading project scoping, skills matching, and developing training material.
Establishing a pilot program and recruiting volunteers to participate.
Overseeing the strategy and execution for the worldwide volunteering campaigns.
Acting as the central point of contact for all teams involved.
Implementing go-to-market strategies for new volunteer efforts.
Measuring key success metrics and collecting essential data for evaluations.

Previous experience in volunteering or community service roles.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with organizing, planning, and executing large events or campaigns.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Capable of working and collaborating across multiple teams.
