Project/Process Manager Category: Project & Program Management Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-370507 Project/Process Manager Seattle, WA (Hybrid) 12+ month contract $55hr W2 Job Description Our client is seeking a Project/Process Manager to support our program work to document the processes required in the operation. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting process improvement projects, process mapping, and process analysis. The Project/Process Manager will also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to think outside the box to come up with creative solutions. The Process Specialist will be responsible for documenting and supporting the implementation of the processes resulting from this new technology integration. Duties & Responsibilities Understand and document business processes, workflows, and associated systems Identify process improvement opportunities by analyzing current processes and making recommendations for change These documented processes are critical to helping our client select the right technology platform to accommodate their service design growth and changes Work with process owners and other stakeholders to design and implement process improvements across areas of the passenger experience that include the operations, financial aspects, and technical platform enabling superior service Develop process metrics and KPIs to track and measure process performance Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures Prepare process maps and process documentation Present process diagrams to stakeholders at all levels Train employees on new or revised processes Monitor process performance and make recommendations for further improvements Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of process changes Keep abreast of latest process improvement methodologies and tools Assist in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues causing process problems Identify potential points of needed integration between two technology platforms This position is in Seattle, Washington and this individual will be required to work from one location in downtown Seattle but be able to travel to other locations, as required. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field 6+ years of experience in process improvement, process engineering, or similar role A critical need is for this candidate to "marry" business needs and processes to then create the requirements for a technology solution Proven track record of leading successful process improvement initiatives and programs Excellent analytical skills with ability to identify process improvements and quantify benefits Strong project management skills Knowledge of transit operations a plus Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills across all leadership levels Candidate must be able to work with both internal stakeholders and clients Well-skilled in Microsoft 365 Office applications including Visio - must be able to work across all core applications throughout this process Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
