Job Function Summary: The Project Manager's responsibilities will include initiating, planning, organizing, overseeing, and closing out of capital equipment projects for Getinge customers within the Life Science division. Job Functions: (Primary "essential" duties and responsibilities) Successful execution of all project phases and related functions, inclusive of kick-off meetings, submittal preparation, issue resolution, risk mitigation, change management, project documentations and status updates while acting as customer liaison. Also responsible for coordinating Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), shipping and installation, start-up and commissioning, final documentation, and resolution of closeout issues. Work independently and autonomously, interact directly with project stakeholders including customers, architects/engineers, vendors and internal personal to assure successful completion of projects within time, budgetary and quality constraints. Develops and maintains a business climate that fosters a positive and cooperative working relationship between customers, Getinge personnel and third party contractors and vendors As required, assist Technical Sales Support to plan scheduling/phasing, provide technical information and review during pre-bid activities, and to assure consistency post order for highly complex opportunities with a high likelihood of award. This support may require short notice travel to Lake Mary and or customer sites. Using the current project management tool, maintain all aspects of the project including accurate project statements, task plans, issue resolution, risk mitigation, change control, and documentation. Accompany customers on factory visits, sometimes requiring trips abroad. Participate in FAT's when required Visit job-sites and attend job-site meetings as PM lead, technical and logistical representative of the company as required. Track internal and external closeout of projects and authorize and maintain archiving and distribution of project documentation. Assist customers, sales reps, department managers, and field personnel as needed with technical documentation and or information for current and past projects. Perform other related duties as required. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5 years of project management experience and/or field sales/service experience in related field. Project Management Certification preferred Prefer experience utilizing Brightwork, Salesforce, and SAP Must travel as required to customer. Must be able to operate an automobile (valid driver's licensed required). Travel, by both vehicle and airplane (up to 25%) will be required depending on the location of projects. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong computer skills consisting of Microsoft products, PM platforms, etc. & data entry Must be able to professionally handle all project matters a in a timely fashion. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand technical documents and generate reports High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Proactive approach to project management Strong ability to lead and collaborate with individual contributors
