One of the largest tech companies based in Seattle, WA is hiring a PM V to drive initiatives that enhance our customer experience for video providers around the world.

Job Description

You will work cross-functionally across our organization to drive initiatives that enhance our customer experience for video providers around the world. You will manage and optimize the submission and licensing process of content , ensuring content meets quality standards and is available worldwide. This role involves coordinating with various teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals and improve the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and complete project/program tasks, overseeing all aspects including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress.

  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of projects/programs.

  • Work with content acquisition managers, engineers, Trust and Safety Team, and other stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to integrate titles across multiple platforms

  • Use internal tools to investigate and check the status of TV shows and movies.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve questions/issues with partners and internal stakeholders to ensure media goes live on Prime Video.

  • Track the status of all items using tools such as Excel, Quip, and Word.

  • Communicate status updates to internal teams.

  • Review content to ensure it meets quality standards.

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with Airtable.

  • Experience in the streaming industry is a nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 4-7 years of experience in project/program management or a related field.

  • Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Creativity and latitude in task execution.

  • Cross-Functional Project Management & External Stakeholder Management; ability to identify pain points, understand/investigate the root cause, and implement either Operational/Program changes or recommend Product changes with little oversight from manager

  • SQL - familiarity with SQL and know how to edit existing queries so they can pull their own data/analysis. High proficiency with Excel would also work

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Experience with cross-functional project management.

  • Strong external stakeholder management skills.

Work Environment

This position requires working onsite for 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) in the Seattle building. The role involves using various internal tools and collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $93.00/hr.
