You will also be part of a sought-after culture that supports dynamic career advancement and work/life balance.Responsibilities:Leads clients and projects towards unique solutions for technologies in the built environment, including technology infrastructure systems, audiovisual systems, physical security, wireless and other technologies and systems, depending on the project typeManages multidiscipline technology consulting, coordination and design for all phases from Conceptual/Schematic Design through ActivationDevelops technology Design Narratives, Division 27 and 28 Specifications, Drawings and Cost Estimates for projectsReviews architectural, mechanical, and structural design and engineering plans and consults on technology space design, systems options and selection, integration opportunities and cost savingsDesigns and prepares the layout of floor plans, riser diagrams, schedules, specification notes and details with special emphasis on technologyPerforms site surveys and evaluates existing conditionsConducts needs assessments and current-state analysesWorks within a highly collaborative team to ensure client standards are met and that all technology systems are incorporated into the overall system designServes as a technical expert resource for others throughout the firm, providing thought leadership and subject matter expertiseProvides mentoring and knowledge transfer to junior engineersKeeps current with technology trends and standardsResearches, develops and evaluates emerging technology to maximize the firm's servicesPresents technical design ideas and submissions to clientsPerforms contractor bid submittal review for completenessProvides Construction Administration services during the construction/implementation and activation phases of projectsLeads and performs QA/QC reviews and feedbackDevelops and maintains positive working relationships with clients to support business development effortsRequirements:College Degree, High School diploma, technical degree, or equivalent experience8+ years of experience in technology design/implementationRCDD requiredPMP certification, DCDC certifications preferredFunctional knowledge of BIM/RevitProficient in Microsoft Suite including MS ProjectExpert level knowledge of codes and standards including IBC, NEC, BICSI/TIA, IEEE, NFPAHands-on working knowledge of related industry standards such as AVIXA, ASIS, etc.Knowledge of digital audio-visual/multimedia and physical security systems, preferredBroad industry knowledge and experience with designing and implementing technology infrastructure systems: technology pathways and spaces, structured cabling systems, audiovisual systems and controls, overhead paging, physical security access control, video surveillance and intercomsFamiliarity with active network systems: LAN/WAN), Data Center design, wireless systems: Wi-Fi, DAS, RTLS, ERRCS, etc. preferredSome experience with healthcare technology systems: Nurse Call, Physiological Monitoring, OR Integration, IPTV preferredBasic understanding of electrical power circuiting and some knowledge of power and cooling calculations for technology systemsExperience in
