Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our growing Social Impact division based out of Seattle, WA. In this role, you will assist our social impact team in support of McKinstry's DEI strategic plan and social and environmental responsibility efforts. If you have a passion for DEI and are looking to showcase your organizational skills and polished, professional work ethic through programmatic support work, then this role is for you. This is an in-office position at our Seattle headquarters in South Seattle. Some responsibilities you will have include: Provides broad support and coordination around Social Impact initiatives, with a particular focus diversity/equity/inclusion projects. Provides support for McKinstry's diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategic plan, as assigned. Manages logistics, drafts communications, manages signups, orders food, drafts invites, coordinates with participants, etc. for special events, including around Women in Construction Week, Pride Month, Veteran's Day, etc. Partners with employee resource groups (ERGs) to provide support, facilitate engagement, track outcomes, monitor progress, and enable participation. Supports communication and coordination with ERG leaders and members. Supports company-wide DEI initiatives, including the Building Bridges conversation series. Reviews content, helps identify speakers, manages series logistics. Supports initiatives to advance diversity in the construction industry through partnership with pre-apprenticeship programs and other community organizations. Attends local events as assigned with social justice community partners. Provides support for DEI trainings or learning opportunities for our people. Monitors data and ensure accuracy of information on DEI dashboard. Also supports special projects and initiatives in alignment with McKinstry's carbon and climate commitment, particularly associated with greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and reporting. Assists with the preparation of presentations, timelines, collateral, reports, and other material. Drafts, edits, proofreads, and finalizes written materials. Takes well-organized and accurate meeting notes, prepares follow-up documents and distributes work from meetings with minimal oversight. Follows up on assignments and provides reports progress Works on special projects and initiatives as assigned. Tracks and manage timelines for projects and deliverables. Supports Sharepoint site content management. Manages confidential and sensitive information with high-level of discretion. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Demonstrated passion for and support of diversity/equity/inclusion, sustainability, and community service required. Post-secondary credential or equivalent work experience required. 1-2 years of working experience in a CSR/ESG, project coordinator, events planning, or communications role desired. Highly proficient with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required; working knowledge of SharePoint and Power BI desired.
