We're seeking a technical Scrum Master to join our Core Enterprise Data and Analytics Group, a team dedicated to shaping the quality of our data used for logistics reporting. You'll be responsible for guiding our team of talented developers in developing core applications that enable management of customer data, driving superior supply chain execution and reporting for Expeditors and our customers. Our dynamic, cloud environment provides a powerful platform for analyzing data and supporting strategic business decisions. Your project management skills will be essential in ensuring that our team delivers on time and meets our goals.
Responsibilities:
Agile Coaching: Coach the team in Agile principles, values, and practices, ensuring adherence to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) guidelines. Ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
Team Leadership: Lead the team in self-organization, ensuring quality software delivery with predictability, efficiency, and velocity.
Ceremony Facilitation: Conduct Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, iteration planning, iteration reviews, and iteration retrospectives.
Positive Environment: Foster a positive and productive team culture, encouraging collaboration and teamwork.
Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with stakeholders to address their needs and expectations while providing timely information. Serve as a point of contact for project teams.
Dependency Management: Proactively manage dependencies and ensure committed work is delivered on time. Coordinate projects across teams.
Contextual Understanding: Understand the context and status of each feature and story within the iteration plan. Keep the team organized and focused on goals.
PI Planning Collaboration: Collaborate with the Program Manager in administering quarterly Planning Interval (PI) sessions.
Impediment Removal: Identify and remove impediments, escalating issues as needed. Efficiently resolve issues and conflicts.
Continuous Improvement: Promote a mindset of relentless and continuous improvement.
Progress Tracking: Track work completion and report progress. Provide metrics for the team and Agile Release Train, such as capacity, planned/actual velocity, and story point burn down.
This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3-5+ years of Project Management or Scrum Master experience, or experience in related fields (e.g., software development, IS, or Agile leadership).
Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies, especially Scrum and SAFe.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and execution skills.

Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration abilities, and organizational skills.
Assertive personality, interpersonal skills, and a focus on action and results.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience managing 3rd Party Vendors.
Knowledge of Azure, Data Fabric, and/or cloud data engineering.
Experience working in cloud data engineering, Azure, and data warehouses.
Strong technical acumen.
SAFe Scrum Master certification or similar.
Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams to deliver results within deadlines.
Understanding of the transportation/logistics industry.

Expected base salary: $80,000 to $125,000
