What We Do First American Financial is seeking an energetic summer intern to join our Strategic Initiatives Delivery team. This position is ideal for an individual who has an inquisitive mind and seeks answers to the question 'Why?'. If you are curious about what happens after a company is purchased and the M&A integration process this is the role for you. The objective of the position will be to build the content for an integration blueprint used to onboard newly acquired companies to the finance and accounting corporate shared services. Responsibilities of the role include but not limited to: Summer Internship: June-August What You'll Do Analyze legacy and current acquisition integration documentation and processes Identify process enhancements to optimize the integration workflow Work with team members to define standard timelines and dependencies an integration blueprint Collaborate with the integration project management team to develop best practices and templates Write clear and concise content to explain the integration process Assist with ad hoc requests as needed What You'll Bring An interest and willingness to learn about Mortgage, Real Estate, Financial, Title Insurance or related industries Excellent analytical and communication skills, strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and initiative The potential to excel in the following competencies: Communication, Customer Focus, Ethics & Integrity, Teamwork & Adaptability, Productivity & Initiative Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions The ability to plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines accordingly Candidates must be able to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications Experience with Smartsheet is a plus, but not required EDUCATION / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Currently enrolled in and consistently working toward completion of a BA in Business, Marketing or Finance Pay Range: $22-$24hr This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
