Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are seeking a Project Executive to join our growing New Construction team in Seattle. In this position you will own the Project Management of complex mechanical projects in healthcare facilities, schools, universities, office buildings, government buildings and data centers. You will lead client relationships and revenue oversight and be responsible for leading and developing a team. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include: Project Coordination Leading and coordinating projects from initiation to close out Tracking current and future jobs while also projecting future staffing requirements Assuming financial responsibility for projects including accurate, timely and relevant reporting to stakeholder Maintaining positive working relationships with building owners, contractors, consultants, vendors and partners Communication and Team Management Serving as primary point of contact with our customers, architects, engineers and owners Informing internal and external customers of new offerings and upgrades Recruiting, coaching and mentoring project team members Acting as a steward of McKinstry culture Safety Upholding and communicating McKinstry safety standards. Coordinating with Safety team to create and communicate site safety plan. Ensuring safety compliance of subcontractors and all on-site personnel. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Demonstrated proficiency for the responsibility of a Project Manager. Eight (8) years of experience in project management, building operations or other related field is required. Knowledge of construction concepts through a Construction Management degree or equivalent work experience required. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimates, and other regularly encountered items required. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. PCDD, CPM professional designation is preferred. Basic estimating skills preferred. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with administrative experience. Physical ability to walk and manage construction job sites.
