Join us.The role at a glance: We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and a deadline driven self starter who has the ability to prioritize multiple duties and manage a variety of projects at the same time. An ideal candidate will have proven themselves able to thrive in a fast-paced climate through their organizational skills and ability to work within a rapidly changing climate. They will be comfortable collaborating closely with Project Managers and be able to manage the integrity and timeliness of project accounting.In your new role, you will: Partner closely with Project Managers, establishing business relationships and ensuring accurate monthly invoicing based on contract requirementsGain an understanding of contract terms to correctly set up and maintain projects in NBBJ's financial systemRespond to inquiries from clients, consultants and team members in a professional, efficient and timely mannerMonitor Accounts Receivable and assist Project Managers with collectionsCoordinate consultant invoices and payments in accordance with agreementsMaintain contract files within guidelines and perform contract file auditsEnsure project costs are recorded properly; prepare project labor and expense adjustments when neededReview, audit and post other teammates' workCollaborate with team to implement process improvementsAssist in the collection and posting of timesheetsParticipate in special projects and initiatives as neededWhat you will Need to Succeed:Bachelor's degree in Business with emphasis in accounting or finance preferredMinimum of 3 years project cost accounting and general ledger experienceUnderstanding of project financials, revenue and profitProficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); experience with Deltek Vision a plusAbility to work both independently and in a highly collaborative mannerConsistently meet deadlinesAbility to adapt to different personalities and management stylesAttention to detail, accuracy, and persistenceExcellent communication skillsExceptional planning and organizational skillsEnergetic, high level of initiativePlease visit our Career Center to apply on-line:Why choose NBBJ?We believe that all NBBJ employees should love their work.
