You will be working closely with assigned Project Managers assisting as requested and directed with problem solving, research, accounts receivable collections, spreadsheet preparation, etc, and contribute wherever, whenever and however possible to ensure the successful efforts of the Business Office.
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 (DOE) + bonus + benefits
Major responsibilities: * Assign / set up new project numbers / record in the register and remind project managers prior to each Project List printing and Payroll; copy New Project Order Forms for distribution * Read and set up client contract parameters (fees, billing basis, consultant costs, expenses, markups) * Read and set up consultant contract parameters (fees, billing basis, expenses, markups) * Prepare consultant invoices for review by Project Managers * Consultant invoice data entry, backup copying (if required) and filing * Prepare / send notices to consultants regarding invoice adjustments, fee authorizations, etc. * File copies of monthly invoices in project files. Keep all filing in current status
Qualifications: * Bachelor?s degree * Minimum 5 years Project Accountant experience * Proficient in the following software applications: ? Microsoft Word, Outlook, Advanced Excel ? Deltek Vision, Adobe Acrobat / Bluebeam * Must be articulate with excellent communication skills and writing abilities, able to interact effectively with employees and Partners of the firm * Must possess ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion with regard to project, business and personnel matters * Must possess a strong work ethic and ability to respond with urgency to requests in a fast paced work environment * Knowledge of architectural / engineering terminology a plus

Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills required
Recent and relevant accounting experience
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Skilled with ERP systems
Vow to meet business deadlines
Detailed and have the ability work independently
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions
