Position Category: Project/Program/Product Management--Non-tech Job DescriptionAmazon.com Information Security is seeking a Program Manager to join the Information Security External Programs Team. This role will have heavy impact and high visibility to essential, business-critical processes, and will be responsible for supporting senior management across multiple business units. You will leverage your educational and applied work experience to help streamline planning, reporting, as well as identify process improvements opportunities within the business to support the larger Information Security team in protecting our customers. Strategic thinking, maturity, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence are essential to success in this role. Specific Duties Include: * Facilitate core business processes for the organization such as three year planning, annual operational planning, senior executive goal development, and monthly reporting * Develop and maintain the rhythm of the business for the external programs * Define, measure and utilize project/program KPIs * Identify and drive continuous process improvements in the PMO * Manage and identify budgetary, scheduling and travel requirements * Develop and drive business operation programs through hands on management * Anticipate problems, productively escalate issues, make trade off decisions, and balance the business needs versus technical. * Write and deliver high-quality documentation for technical audiences and non-technical audiences. Basic Qualifications-Three years of experience in Program Management or related field * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * Outstanding interpersonal skills; must display customer obsession, patience, humor and a can-do / whatever-it-takes resourceful and positive attitude * Ability to design and document solutions and processes * Experience developing and refining business operational processes * Experience developing organizational policies * Experience working in a global work environment * Disciplined self-starter; collaborative team player * Reliable with strong follow-through abilities with impeccable attention to detail * Ability to set and meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize.
