We are hiring a Program Manager to support Amazon's company-wide external scientific publication process. The ideal candidate for this role has experience managing medium-to-large scale operational processes and tooling in the tech industry.Key job responsibilitiesThe person in this role will:* Support approval workflow management, conforming to process guidelines* Manage daily interactions with internal customers and leaders across all of Amazon* Identify and define analytical opportunities to scale for program growth* Bachelor's Degree* 2+ years experience in program or project management* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information, verbally and in writing, concisely and in a manner which drives people to take action* Successful track record of effectively working with stakeholders and/or customers to address pain points that also meet operational performance goals* Ability to develop quick turn-around results in a fast moving, rapidly changing environment* 1+ years' experience pulling reporting data and compiling analytical insights through Excel, Tableau, or similar tools* Experience working on or managing complex approval process workflows* Knowledge of or previous experience in academic publishingThis position can be based in either our Seattle, WA or Boston, MA area offices.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
