We operate at the intersection of customer need, legal guidance and technical capability and are committed to ensuring that every single item that is shipped by Amazon is safe and compliant.We are looking for a program manager to oversee the management of business-critical processes and projects under Product Assurance. This program manager will work across multiple global stakeholders including operations and tech, to drive resolution for key Product Assurance deliverables that are tracked at an executive level.The program manager will be expected to handle day-to-day issues (constantly thinking about how to invent and simplify to improve), and strategize on longer-term, program-wide initiatives.Key Responsibilities:* Develop and improve project and program management processes, prioritizing ways to leverage technology and automate;* Develop communications and processes to implement solutions across global use cases* Identify and research programmatic opportunities (tools, resources, process gaps) and use a data-driven approach to write project proposals/white papers;* Run queries and analyze data to track trends and initiate deep dives to detect opportunities;* Coordinate with Operations, Product, Tech, and Program teams to execute projects and develop SOPs; Create operational metrics and business reporting.Basic Qualifications* Bachelor's degree;* 3+ years of experience in a program management, product management, risk management, analytics or business intelligence role;* Experience using writing writing and communication skills, and ability to engage with both senior leadership as well as operational teams;* Experience using understanding of operational excellence with an appreciation for maintaining a high quality bar;* Experience using problem solving and analytical skills to make decisions using data and prioritize solutions.* Experience running queries in SQL* Experience with advanced data analytics using ExcelAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
