PMO Program Manager
developing a program management office (PMO) to address the needs of our intelligence
community (IC) customers migrating to the Oracle cloud. The PMO mission is to
identify and manage risks to the integrity, trustworthiness, authenticity, and
delivery of cloud products and services to our IC customers.
Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Global Government Sector (G2S) team, oversees the
delivery of cloud products tailored for government customers, is seeking an
experienced project management professional to serve as the OCI representative
within the greater PMO. As OCI’s PMO representative, you will:
Ensure the relevant Oracle lines ofbusinesses (LOBs) adhere to the necessary requirements and contractualobligations.
Manage stakeholder coordinationacross all OCI and other Oracle LOBs.
And ensure the information is readilyavailable to our IC customers.
Serve as theprimary OCI liaison to the PMO and act as the interface for all OCI needs
Workwith business stakeholders, project managers, and technical staff to delivereffectively against commitments that fulfill our government clients’ businessobjective.
Support the developmentand maintenance of plans that meets customer requirements (including anOracle-wide Supply Chain Risk Management Plan and risk mitigation plans)
Help define project scope, identify risks, drivemitigation strategies, and clearly communicate project status to stakeholders
Track andmanage roadmaps, project schedules, deliverables, and KPI’s
Engage withbusiness stakeholders to understand use cases, define requirements, and performbusiness analysis, while managing expectations of stakeholders
Documentrequirements, and manage budget/schedule/resources
Communicateprogram status, program readiness, business and technical issues, risks andtheir resolution across engineering, including senior management.
degree or higher or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
- 5 years’
experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields
- 3 years’
experience in software program management and/or engineering management. [IJ1]

Demonstrated ability to effectivelycollaborate and influence product/engineering service owners.

Technical understanding of enterpriselevel cloud technologies or a background that enables you to understand cloudinfrastructure.
Hands on experience problem solvingwith development teams.
Experience working cross-functionallywith cloud computing engineering, sales and marketing teams or relatedtechnical fields.
Understanding of the softwaredevelopment lifecycle/ PMI or SCRUM Master Certification; experience with Agilemethodologies, and working knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence).

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
