The Program Manager of Network Strategy will be responsible for creating a Supply Chain network topology that achieves Customer Experience goals while delivering on the business fundamentals for managing the flow of inventory through the Supply Chain. The Program Manager of Network Strategy will translate mid to long term demand plans, sources of supply, and physical asset locations into flow plans and strategies that balance customer experience, service level, and cost. These plans range from multiyear capital and network plans to bi-annual operational flow plans. Working with teams across the organization, this individual will deliver innovations and modeling insights to create, evaluate, and deliver strategies to optimize the flow of goods from suppliers to customers across the globe.   

The role is complex in that it requires an individual who can flex their focus from theoretical to operationally practical fluidly and is able to partner collaboratively with many teams (Merchandising, Inventory Deployment, Store Ops, Field Ops, Data Science, Technology, and Digital Ops) to align on trade-offs and paths forward. The role requires outstanding stakeholder management skills and a track record in delivering results across multiple orgs and geographies.   

A day in the life…

  • Drive the continuous optimization of end-to-end supply chain network across all business models (full price, off-price; online and stores)  

  • Develop strategic frameworks for optimization of the network, facilities, product flow, inventory strategy, and transportation   

  • Develop and deliver leading-edge concepts for optimizing the supply chain using Network Optimization & Simulation modeling in Cosmic Frog Software

  • Work across business leaders to prioritize and develop a deployment plan for the future network   

  • Develop and execute an operating cadence that drives a culture of continuous optimization within the operations team   

  • Build a network of internal and external stakeholders to seek out innovation and anticipate future business needs   

  • Develop strategy to align senior leaders in s upply c hain and outside of supply chain to the deployment of our network against our business strategy   

  • Develop business cases for network strategy recommendations and establish routines to track execution against network strategy objectives   

    You own this if you have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, operations management, or similar field

  • 5 + years of experience leading cross-functional, high-profile projects or programs

  • Supply c hain network optimization and simulation modeling experience

  • Supply chain expertise in retail or consumer goods preferred; with specific focus on logistics and distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or store operations and understanding of industry dynamics

  • Demonstrated experience bringing large scale change opportunities to life through data driven storytelling and advanced analytics to inform complex decision making

  • Unique ability to review and accept complete cross functional requirements (business, engineering, software, etc.) and manage delivery to those requirements with internal and external partners for successful deployment for scope, timeline and budget

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking with comfort in data interpretation to derive actionable insights

  • Robust analytical skills and the ability to be creative, resourceful, and tenacious in approaching and solving complex problems with data and insights with a strong proficiency in SQL and Excel

  • Strategic mindset and the ability to sift through complexity to find business opportunities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and influence leaders at all levels

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex information to surface and articulate the most salient points

  • Ability to manage ambiguity by creating structure, process, and prioritization

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $92,000 - $155,000 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
