The US 3P Business recruits new sellers, supports sellers in driving core inputs and building their brands, and advocates both internally and externally on behalf of sellers to remove roadblocks and enhance the overall selling experience. As an L&D PM on the Strategic Account Services (SAS)/New Seller Recruitment (NSR) L&D Team, you’ll be responsible for the creation and management of our universal onboarding program for new hires in the US 3P Business. This role will be instrumental in shaping how new team members understand and support the millions of small and medium-sized businesses selling on Amazon's marketplace. The ideal candidate will create immersive learning experiences that help new hires deeply understand our seller ecosystem, marketplace dynamics, and Amazon's commitment to being Earth's most seller-centric company.

You will own the initial stages of the onboarding journey, including pre-day-one logistics, new hire orientation, and hands-on learning experiences that bring the seller perspective to life. This includes designing and facilitating exercises where new hires engage with seller tools, analyze seller pain points, and understand the broader e-commerce landscape. You'll create learning experiences that help Amazonians think from the seller's perspective and understand how their roles directly impact seller success.

The ideal candidate is resourceful, customer-focused and team oriented, with a background in training delivery and facilitation. They will enjoy the challenges of developing and improving processes in a dynamic organization. They are highly autonomous and have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build, execute, measure, and improve the universal onboarding program for US 3P.

  • Partner with HR, leadership, and hiring managers to understand onboarding needs.

  • Develop training content including eLearning modules, videos, and interactive workshops.

  • Create and maintain metrics to measure onboarding program effectiveness, including new hire satisfaction, time-to-productivity, and retention rates.

  • Regularly gather feedback from new hires and stakeholders to continuously improve the program.

  • Train and support hiring managers and mentors in their onboarding responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Ability to translate complex business concepts into engaging learning experiences

  • Experience facilitating training sessions for adult learners

  • Proven track record of developing successful learning programs and measuring their impact

  • Proficiency with learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools

  • Excellence in written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adult learning/instructional design certifications

  • Experience with change management methodologies

  • Experience with marketplace, e-commerce, or retail business models

  • Direct experience working with or supporting online sellers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
