Description

We are hiring a Program Manager - Operations, to support a new initiative within AWS Training & Certification. You will have a chance to build new experiences for learners, and help build confidence and competence for AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

You will apply your expertise to:

-Build products and programs that serve external learners as they develop proficiency in AWS services.

-Work within the larger Business Operations org to establish solid rhythm of the business processes.

-Align our org's story through WBR/MBR/QBR and executive briefing opportunities.

Key job responsibilities

Establish goals, plans and related metrics, track progress, create SOPs, and operate through obstacles to achieve program objectives.

Create reporting and dashboards for critical metrics to illustrate progress against goals to support team activities and report to management on weekly/monthly basis.

Work cross functionally with the product management, engineering, frontend client teams, operations and program teams to document and define initiatives and drive them through execution.

Act as a thought leader in defining success criteria and understand business needs of partner teams in an ever-changing business environment.

Prepare strategic recommendations, roadmaps, and program updates to senior management for the organization.

Identify and analyze data to isolate issues, develop solutions, and prioritize opportunities for servicing our partners.

Make recommendations that balance short team needs against the long-term business benefit.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
