Amazon Program Manager, Grocery Partnerships in Seattle, Washington

Description

We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Program Manager to join the Grocery Partnerships team.

Our team enables Prime customers to shop groceries on Amazon.com and get them delivered from their favorite grocers in 2 hours or less. In this role, you will innovate on behalf of customers and our partners, bring new selection online, and change the way people buy food.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on ownership on a fast growing team and work largely autonomously in an entrepreneurial environment.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable driving complex projects at the heart of the Grocery partnerships expansion. We are looking for someone who can solve ambiguous problems, is able to switch gears quickly, and keep driving forward. The individual must build strong relationships with partner teams and be able to effectively communicate the status of projects, risks, challenges and levers we can pull. You will be part of a high-functioning, fast-moving team Launch and Expansion team responsible for delivering on strategic goals with direct impact for our customers.

Key job responsibilities

• Integrate new Grocery Partners

• Develop and execute project plans requiring involvement from a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.

• Proactively identify and mitigate risks that impact project deliveries across workstreams and drive correctives.

• Deep dive challenges and blockers to find solutions through outside-the box thinking.

• Drive the creation of effective cross-functional project management mechanisms and tracking to ensure projects are delivered on time.

• Effectively communicate project status and risks with partner teams

• Be intimately familiar with the status of all projects in-flight

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
