We are looking for a customer-obsessed Program Manager, Catalog to support Amazon’s Go Stores business. The ideal candidate will come with a strong track record of stakeholder engagement and proven project management experience to own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations. You are results oriented and have thrived and succeeded in operating a new business in a highly ambiguous environment. You know how to be scrappy but operate as part of a larger team and business. You will own the development of new processes by leveraging best practices and benchmarks. You demonstrate high judgement, ability to influence, analytical and leadership skills and exceptional communication skills. You are willing to always focus on the customer and take a strong stance to ensure deliverables to stores meet a high bar. You enjoy diving deep and using data to identify opportunities and guide improvements.

The role: The Catalog Program Manager owns development of new programs, provides SME support for the management of the Amazon Go product catalog, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to deliver the best assortment for customers within our stores. You will influence tech roadmaps, support launches of new features, and manage your own set of programs. You will need to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, dynamic business environment, operating in multiple levels of the organization. You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity and pace that’s higher than most projects.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop new programs and processes to meet the assortment needs of stakeholders, delivering for customers

• Influence tech roadmap for grocery selection tools

• Provide guidance and support for cross banner grocery projects

• Identify and implement process improvements and opportunities for innovation to support customers

• Own project management for highly cross functional projects

• Dive deep into data and root cause defects, creating proactive resolutions to prevent reoccurrence of problems

• Develop best practices to foster, manage, track, and measure success

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
