Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain the AI Center of Excellence (COE): Lead the creation and evolution of the AI COE, providing a hub for best practices, tools, frameworks, and educational resources for AI adoption across Weyerhaeuser.
  • Facilitate Internal Communication: Collaborate with leadership and AI teams to create communication strategies that engage and inform internal stakeholders on AI initiatives, milestones, and successes.
  • Content Development: Produce and curate content such as newsletters, presentations, and training materials to support AI knowledge sharing and organizational alignment.
  • Support AI Tooling and Best Practices: Provide guidance and resources to ensure AI teams have the necessary tools and best practices to execute AI projects successfully.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Work with AI researchers, data scientists, engineers, and business units to ensure alignment between AI initiatives and business needs.
  • Foster a Culture of Innovation: Champion innovation by creating opportunities for experimentation and collaboration within AI teams and across the organization.
  • Track Progress and Share Successes: Develop systems to monitor and report the progress of AI initiatives, ensuring visibility of AI's impact on the business.
  • Assist in Training and Education: Partner with departments to identify AI training needs and support the delivery of relevant programs, empowering employees with AI-related skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical or business field: A focus on communications, technology management, or AI is preferred.

  • Experience in Program Enablement or AI Initiatives: Proven experience in communication, program enablement, or roles supporting AI-related initiatives.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with experience distilling complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and manage complex relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to structure content, develop training materials, and manage knowledge-sharing platforms (e.g., SharePoint).
  • Proficiency in AI Concepts: Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, tools, and processes to facilitate content development and cross-team coordination.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategies that drive organizational engagement, AI awareness, and program success.
  • Innovative Mindset: A forward-thinking, collaborative approach focused on fostering a culture of learning and experimentation.

What We Offer

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $104,310 - $156,464 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 15% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
