Job Description

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

  • You will lead project-level plan, issues/risks, status, etc.

  • Handling partner expectations.

  • Facilitating cross-silo communications and decision-making.

  • You will facilitate Project Leadership Team meetings.

  • You will be the single-point of contact for Project Managers, Business Owners.

  • You will define and run project schedules.

  • Producing weekly status reports and attending weekly status meetings.

  • You will handle multiple projects through project lifecycles.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of software development or operational experience potentially including: Software Development Lifecycle processes; software testing standards, practices, methods and tools; Release Management; and Operational processes.

  • Professional maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.

  • 3-5+ years running and delivering large-scale technology driven projects.

  • You have excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills. – Experience communicating 1:1 with end-user customers a plus.

  • Experience teaming with VP-level and line level partners in a large enterprise organization to establish and maintain roadmaps, set appropriate expectations and ensure our products and services meet our high standards of excellence.

  • Ability to succeed through teamwork and working through internal and external organizations and individuals.

  • Experience working with project management; process flow authoring software such as MS Visio, and issue tracking software preferably Atlassian Jira or GitHub.

  • Experience with Agile / Scrum / Kanban – Certified Scrum Master a plus.

  • Active involvement with Cloud services deployments - familiarity with cloud concepts, terminology, tech stacks.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
