The database engineering team within OCI is

looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our team in Seattle,

WA. You will be part of a team working

in a high performing, highly dynamic environment. Responsible for managing the development and

implementation processes that contribute to delivering services on Oracle’s


Manage the development and implementation process of a high functioning

database engineering team focused on operational excellence. Monitor projects

from initiation through delivery including planning and scheduling. Organize

the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on


You must have the following skills:

  • 5 years of program management experience.

  • You must have experience with enterprise

project delivery and display the ability to think broadly and


  • You must possess a technology background that

enables you to understand database engineering terminology.

  • Have an understanding of a Linux environment.

  • Work well with product managers to establish

and maintain our roadmap, setting appropriate expectations.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
