Job Description

Oracle Health is seeking am experienced Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our dynamic and fast-paced Platform team. As a Sr TPM at Oracle Health, you will play a crucial role in driving critical programs, build a working relationship with cross functional partnering teams, drive data driven decisions, and support our senior leadership. You will work with internal/external partner teams to align vision, define objectives, manage risks, create functional solutions, define/implement plans, and ultimately deliver impact. It is the expectation that the TPM becomes an SME in the space influencing the direction, strategy and design of the solutions working closely with engineers. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, cross-organizational and project management skills and thrive in a highly innovative, fast paced, evolving and ambiguous environment.

Subject Matter Expert: Not only do you deeply understand the areas you work in, but you are also gifted at explaining the “so what” to stakeholders. You will build and develop relationships across organizations and define new operational strategies, working with the leadership team on special projects.

Team Player and Creative Problem Solver: Thrive in an ambiguous environment by proactively identifying challenges and working with teams to find creative solutions.

Clear Communicator: Your status reports are articulate, crisp, and updates rolled up to the appropriate level appropriate based on the audience. You flag and report potential risks to internal and external stakeholders and are adept at representing your reports (verbally & written) to senior executives.

Act With Urgency: You are proactive, have bias for action, and are constantly looking for opportunities to improve exiting reporting experience or identifying new ones which will help bubble up the organizational health trend to senior executives.

Responsibilities

  • Own/drive/participate in array of initiatives/deliverables across Oracle Health Platform. This includes defining a program, tracking risks, foreseeing and resolving blockers, and taking the program past its finish line as the end-to-end lead.

  • Author high quality documents which include status reports, newsletters, senior leadership updates, and presentations.

  • Deal with ambiguous problem statements, dive deep, define problem statements, and come up with solutions.

  • Work with partner teams to determine strategy and prioritize features/process changes.

  • Manage expectations, alignment and communications with customers and stakeholders through cadenced meetings, reports, statuses, reviews etc.

  • Build out analytics specific to the area of involvement. This includes KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and reporting. The candidate should be able to use data to speak to the efficacy of their processes and capabilities.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant engineering program management experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Masters preferred. Education in technical area preferred or equivalent work experience

  • Demonstrated ability and expertise writing and presenting reports such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews to senior executives.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and reporting on organization-wide issues, and work with key stakeholders to drive them to resolution.

  • Experience with large-scale, globally diverse teams in a technical environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstratable business maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to think and act broadly and strategically.

  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently while dealing with ambiguous situations, with a strong positive attitude

  • Strong cross-group collaboration in solving complex problems

  • Ability to anticipate and analyze risks and develop mitigation plans

  • Detail-oriented while able to see the bigger picture, organized, critical thinker

  • Ability to effectively manage conflict and work through differing points of view using data points and presenting evidence.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in cloud technologies is a plus, as it will help you understand the intricacies of OCI's products and services.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
