The HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER - SLEEP CENTER has an outstanding opportunity to for Program Coordinator . Under general supervision of the Manager and Assistant Manager.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Days POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Manager and Assistant Manager, the Sleep Clinic Program Coordinator, hereafter referred to as Program Coordinator, provides program support in the management of specific referral queues and disposition of select patients. As part of this responsibility, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the care and disposition of patients who require urgent pre-operative, diagnostic and routine sleep studies. Broadly this includes interface with insurance companies to determine coverage, scheduling pre-sleep clinic appointments, obtaining medical records prior to clinic appointments, scheduling sleep study appointments, scheduling follow-up clinic visits and directing documents to various DME distributors/companies. These patients may be referred from various UWMC services or outside facilities. The Program Coordinator is an integral member of the Sleep Program and regularly participates in staff meetings, process improvement projects, and efforts to improve Patient First initiatives. REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialtyORequivalent education/experience.
